New Delhi: Helmet manufacturer Steelbird recorded revenue growth of 27% at INR 711 crore in 2023-24 compared to the previous fiscal year. It sold more than 8 million units becoming the world’s largest helmet manufacturer. Steelbird is set to unveil 20 new helmets with 70 variants in 2024-25.
With the expansion of its manufacturing facilities, including a new line in Baddi, Steelbird plans to produce 50,000 helmets per day, the company said in a media release.
Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of Steelbird, said, “Our mission has always revolved around prioritizing rider safety. This growth is a testament to our customers appreciating Steelbird products and making roads safer for all.”
Steelbird has over 200 exclusive rider shops helping riders choose their perfect style and also service their helmets. The company plans to expand the rider shops to over 1000 in a few years, the release added.
“Steelbird is already the world’s largest helmet manufacturer and the vision is to be the #1 choice of riders in the world for their helmets, rider accessories such as gloves, goggles, and rider suits as well as bike accessories, such as side boxes,” the release added.
