Envision Energy join hands with Hero Future Energies for boosting renewable energy sector

Envision Energy and Hero Future Energies have entered into a framework agreement aimed at advancing cooperation in the renewable energy sector. The agreement encompasses various aspects, including the supply of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Green Hydrogen technologies.

As part of the agreement, Envision Energy will supply 588 MW of 3.3 MW WTGs over the next 1.5 years to Hero Future Energies. These WTGs are expected to produce approximately 2,200 GWh units of clean energy annually.

Srivatsan Iyer, Global CEO of Hero Future Energies, highlighted the strategic importance of long-term agreements in mitigating supply chain disruptions and ensuring price stability. He emphasized the collaborative effort to drive the adoption of wind energy and other decarbonization initiatives, stating, “By leveraging our collective strengths and expertise, we are strategically positioned to expedite the adoption of wind energy and other decarbonization efforts.”

RPV Prasad, Managing Director of Envision Energy India, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “It is a momentous step for Envision India to partner with Hero Future Energies, leveraging the potential in wind-rich states across India. This partnership will play a pivotal role in propelling India towards its net-zero target by 2070.”

Kane Xu, Global Vice President of Envision Energy, reiterated the commitment to green energy transition and sustainable solutions. He mentioned expanding the partnership beyond WTGs to include solutions in BESS and Green Hydrogen, aiming to become a preferred NetZero Tech Partner.

Envision Energy has already established a significant presence in India’s renewable energy sector, having commissioned over 690 MW of wind projects and securing substantial orders for WTG models.
