New Delhi: Statiq, a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging network has partnered with Cube Stop Highway Rest Areas, to enhance EV charging infrastructure across highways in the country.

Under this collaboration, Statiq will install EV charging stations at multiple Cube Stop Highway Rest Areas, beginning with Anantapur on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Highway (NH44). These charging stations will be open to the public, catering to a wide range of vehicles, including 4-wheelers and heavy vehicles. With Cube Stop’s strategic presence along the country’s major highways, the partnership promises to extend the accessibility of EV charging facilities to a broader demographic of EV customers, eliminating the range anxiety to take long intercity trips.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Cube Stop,” Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO of Statiq, said. “At Statiq, we envision a future powered by Green energy, and through collaborations like this, we aim to accelerate the transition to clean energy by expanding the EV charging infrastructure along the nation’s highways. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to make EV charging accessible, convenient, and reliable for all.”

“Our partnership with Statiq reflects our dedication to embracing innovation and meeting the evolving needs of our patrons. By integrating EV charging stations into our network of amenities, we aim to augment the Cube Stop experience while supporting the nation’s transition to sustainable mobility. We are excited about the opportunities this collaboration presents and look forward to delivering the best-in-class service to our customers,” Nitin Goel, Chief Operating Officer of Cube Stop, said.

Statiq has already deployed 7,000 chargers across tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 cities in India, with ambitious plans to scale up to 20,000 EV charging points by 2025, the company said in a media release.
