US- and Bengaluru-based Triomics has raised $15 million in a funding round led by prominent Silicon Valley firms. Separately, Regrip has raised $2 million in a fresh funding round led by Qatar-based venture capital FIRM Sirious One alongside Inflection Point Ventures and Let’s Venture.

Triomics raises $15m from Lightspeed, others

US- and Bengaluru-based Triomics, a company leveraging generative AI to revolutioniSe cancer care, has raised $15 million in a funding round led by prominent Silicon Valley firms like Lightspeed, Nexus Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator.

Founded by former MIT and Adobe researchers Sarim Khan and Hrituraj Singh, Triomics has developed a family of oncology-focused large language models LLMs (called OncoLLM) to automate this process, saving oncologists time and improving patient outcomes. Triomics also helps healthcare providers automate other tasks like quality assurance and clinical pathway tracking.

Today, six cancer CENTRES and hospitals are actively using or piloting the company’s LLM, and it plans to double that number by the end of the year.

Sirious One co-leads funding in Regrip

Tyre recycling startup Regrip has raised $2 million in a fresh funding round led by Qatar-based venture capital firm Sirious One alongside Inflection Point Ventures and Let’s Venture, per an announcement.

Prominent angel investors such as Rikant Pitti (co-founder of EaseMyTrip), Aparna Thyagarajan (co-founder of Shobitam), Vishal Jhunjhunwala (Managing Partner of Bombay Chemical & Rubber Products), and Mahavir Pratap Sharma (Chairman of TIE Angels) also joined the round.

The round also gave an exit to REGRIP’s early investor, IIMA Ventures.

“This investment will enable us to expand our technological capabilities and bolster our efforts in building a robust collection network for discarded tyres across the nation. Our goal is not just to revolutionise the tyre recycling industry but also to make a significant impact on the environment,” said Tushar Suhalka, Founder of Regrip.
