People Digest: Temus names new CEO; Lazada Logistics exec joins SiCepat

Temasek-backed Temus has announced the appointment of Ng Lai Yee as its new CEO, while Philippe Auberger, the former country CEO of Lazada Logistics in Indonesia, has joined SiCepat as its COO.

Temus, a global digital transformation platform backed by Temasek Holdings and UST, has announced the appointment of Ng Lai Yee as its new chief executive officer. Ng, former Singapore managing partner and country leader at IBM Consulting, will succeed KC Yeoh, who will return to Temasek International.

Temus was set up in April 2021 as a platform to accelerate the transformation of enterprises and public sector agencies in Singapore and abroad.

In the past three years, Temus has acquired Singapore-based system integrator DreamCloud and digital services provider Decision Science Agency. It has also expanded its operations to Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.

SiCepat appoints new COO

Philippe Auberger, the former country CEO of Lazada Logistics in Indonesia, has joined SiCepat as COO to spearhead upcoming changes in the logistics company. Auberger succeeds Murwanto who has been with the company since February 2014.

Auberger has been with Lazada Group for more than eight years, building the group’s last-mile delivery capabilities and network in Indonesia.

“SiCepat is on a mission to reclaim its position as a market leader in the logistics industry, and I am honoured to be part of this transformative journey,” Auberger said in his LinkedIn post. “In my new role, I am dedicated to driving excellence and purposeful innovation to elevate our services, redefine industry standards and contribute to our vision of redefining logistics in Indonesia,” he said, noting that his focus will be on innovation and improvement in the company.

SiCepat has been announcing changes in leadership since last year. The Kim Hai resigned as CEO in 2023 and Jianwei Low, a former executive at Shopee, joined the company as managing director in March this year.

SiCepat Ekspress has raised $139.52 million in funding to date, according to DealStreetAsia DATA VANTAGE.
