Infiniti’s America branch has launched the 2025 QX80, the latest iteration of its luxury SUV offering three rows of seating and enhanced technologies. Set to go on sale at Infiniti retailers across the U.S. at the end of July, the new QX80 will start at $82,450 (€77,114 / £65,040).
Technology plays a key role in many of the SUV’s core functions, while enabling many of its key features. Here, an array of cameras including the Invisible Hood View enhance visibility when maneuvering in parking lots or narrow city streets. An available ‘Ultra-Wide View’ mode presents a live feed from the cameras on the new QX80’s dual 14.3-inch displays.
Across these displays, Google built-in connectivity integrates native automotive-ready versions of Google Maps, Google Assistant and the Play Store, while an optional Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system (available on the Sensory and Autograph grades) deliver enhanced audio to all three rows. Its functionality is enhanced with Individual Audio, which allows for certain audio elements – such as navigation directions, music or phone calls – to be sent only to the driver’s seat.
Internally, all QX80 models feature a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine, rated for 450 horsepower (335 kW) and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque and a nine-speed automatic transmission. An available Electronic Air Suspension function provides varying vehicle heights for different scenarios, including lowering when parked for easier loading of cargo and people. A similarly available Dynamic Digital Suspension system monitors the road conditions and adjusts damping force to deliver smoother, more in-control, lane changes and enhanced ride quality.
The new QX80 is offered in four grades, with Pure and Luxe providing a choice between rear-wheel drive and Infiniti All-mode 4WD, while Sensory and Autograph are equipped exclusively with 4WD. The entry-level Pure model, starting at $82,450 (€77,038 / £65,040) with RWD, or $85,550 (€79935 / £67,486) with 4WD, offers Infiniti’s InTouch infotainment system with dual 14.3-inch screens, Klipsch 14-speaker premium audio, heated first- and second-row seats, Flush Door Handles, 3D Around View Monitor, ProPILOT Assist 1.1, Google built-in, Amazon Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8 USB ports, and a Motion-activated liftgate.
For $89,500 (€83,626 / £70,602) with RWD or $92,650 (€86,569 / £73,086) with 4WD, the Luxe builds on this offering with Infiniti’s Dynamic Digital Suspension, Electronic Air Suspension, a head-up display, climate-controlled first- and second-row seats, a Remote Control Rear Seat, 22-inch wheels. From this grade, Infiniti’s ProPILOT Assist 2.1 is offered as a premium feature for $3,300 (€3,082 / £2,603).
The luxury-focused Sensory trim, priced at $100,645 (€94,006 / £79,393) for the 4WD version adds further premium features include Semi-aniline leather-appointed seating for first and second rows, Biometric Cooling, Klipsch 24-speaker Reference Premiere Premium Audio with Individual Audio, Infiniti Light Path, massaging front seats, Personalized Ambient Lighting, Dark Brown open pore ash wood trim, and Frameless Smart Rear View Mirror. ProPILOT Assist 2.1 is likewise available on this trim for $3,200 (€2,988 / £2,524).
At the top of the model range, starting at $110,595 (€103,300 / £87,242), the QX80 Autograph offers ProPILOT Assist 2.1 as standard; second-row massaging seats; a second-row console with touchscreen HVAC and seat control; semi-aniline leather-appointed, heated third-row seats; front console cool box; In-Car Camera; two-tone roof; dark chrome exterior trim; and an open pore ash wood trim with metal inlay.
