Yulu, India’s largest shared electric vehicle (EV) mobility technology firm, today launched its service in Hyderabad, Telangana. The rollout will see Yulu introducing its purpose-built shared EVs on city roads for the first time, the press release noted.
Yulu’s service was inaugurated in the presence of Jayesh Ranjan (IAS) Special Chief Secretary, Information Technology and Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana.
To begin with, Yulu will deploy its purpose-built DeX EVs in the Cyberabad Commissionerate area.
Yulu’s service is also aligned with the State Government’s aim to provide comprehensive intra-city mobility infrastructure and sustainably develop its metropolitan area under the upcoming Hyderabad Master Plan. Mr Jayesh Ranjan (IAS) says, “The Government of Telangana is dedicated to advancing the electric vehicle sector. Hyderabad, with its young and tech-savvy population, serves as an ideal environment for the adoption of innovative technologies and business models in the electric mobility space. Yulu’s service will support State and City-level administrators in their goal to create jobs and promote sustainable urbanisation, the company further noted.
