Kazam, a pioneering device-agnostic electric mobility software platform, announced a major enhancement in electric vehicle (EV) charging accessibility through the integration of their extensive network of charging infrastructure with Google Maps.
Kazam’s widespread network of chargers, present in over 15 states, will now be visible on Google Maps. EV drivers will effortlessly be able to find the nearest charging station, check real-time availability, and plan their routes more efficiently. This integration supports Google’s mission to provide comprehensive mapping and navigation services and also aligns with Kazam’s commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions.
Akshay Shekhar, Co-Founder and CEO, Kazam said, “Interoperability is key to democratising access to charging stations, and our partnership with Google Maps ensures seamless navigation to chargers for everyone. Kazam is dedicated to enhancing the e-mobility ecosystem, and making our chargers accessible via Google Maps for ease of discovery is a testament to our commitment.”
Kazam aims to expand its EV charging network across the entire country. Through this collaboration with Google, users can easily access and navigate charging stations and get detailed information about charger types to ensure compatibility with their vehicles.
