Bajaj Auto has opened its 100th Triumph showroom in Dehradun, India, expanding the Triumph network to 100 locations within a year of managing India operations.
Triumph Motorcycles and Bajaj Auto recently reported selling 50,000 Triumph 400cc motorcycles across 50 countries, including the USA, Japan, Germany, UK, and Australia, marking the first anniversary of the India-produced Speed and Scrambler 400cc bikes.
This expansion follows the introduction of the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X models in the ‘Modern Classic’ motorcycle segment.
The geographically diverse network aims to provide access for Triumph customers across the country for purchasing motorcycles, engaging with the Triumph community, and receiving after-sales service.
Triumph organizes various events for its customers, including:
– Welcome Rides for new customers on the first Sunday of each month
– Scrambler Rides on off-road trails
– Epic Tours, which are multi-day long-distance rides to various destinations
– Triumph Bike Nights, social gatherings for Triumph motorcycle owners
Sumeet Narang, President of Probiking Business at Bajaj Auto Ltd., stated that the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X have gained popularity in India and 50 other countries. He noted that Bajaj Auto has fulfilled its promise to open 100 showrooms with service centers within a year, bringing the Triumph experience closer to Indian customers. Narang indicated that the company plans to continue expanding its showroom network in the coming year and is committed to providing both sales and service support, as well as community programs for Triumph owners.
