Tata Motors will launch a Charge Point Aggregator App on 7 August, along with the launch of the Curvv. The company’s nationwide charge point aggregator feature will be integrated into the Tata Motors’ Connected Car app.
The company took to social media to note that it will have the widest integration of charge points across India with 15 plus CPOs, Real-time charger status availability, seamless navigation to charger locations, integration with Tata EV data to enable trip planning based on vehicle range and charger usage data, and Ratings of charge points from fellow Tata.ev owners.
While charging infra has grown to over 13,000+ charging points pan India, EV owners face challenges finding available, high quality chargers, and Tata Motors aims to address this range anxiety via this app.
The company will also launch the Curvv on this day. Prices for the Curvv will be announced on August 7, likely covering all its iterations — petrol, diesel, and electric. The diesel engine will be the existing 1.5-litre unit from the Nexon, while the EV will be offered with two battery options.
We expect the Curvv prices to range from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, while the electric version could be priced between Rs 16 lakh to Rs 22 lakh.
