BMW Motorrad has introduced a new colour option for its smallest supersport, the G310 RR. The bike now comes with three colour options: Cosmic Black 2, White with M Sport graphics, and Racing Blue Metallic. The price remains unchanged at Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The Racing Blue Metallic primarily uses blue but also has red, white and black accents. The motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged other than the new colour scheme. The G310 RR’s liquid-cooled, 312cc single-cylinder engine is shared with the BMW G 310 R and the G 310 GS. It is also used in the TVS Apache RR 310 and RTR 310, although those bikes get a different tune. The engine in the BMWs churns out 34hp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm.
The suspension consists of a USD fork and a pre-load adjustable monoshock, and braking duties are handled by single discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The G 310 RR’s main rivals in India are the KTM RC 390 (Rs 3.20 lakh), and the TVS Apache RR 310 (Rs 2.49 lakh to Rs 2.72 Lakh). Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
