Mahindra Logistics Limited announced a collaboration with AI-powered startup Sangti Solutions to reduce carbon emissions in the supply chain through a SaaS platform. The partnership aims to establish a fully automated system accredited by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and ISO 14083 to seamlessly integrate into existing logistics processes.
The system will provide a centralized interface for efficient data management and comprehensive viewing, aiding in the reduction of carbon emissions. The collaboration will offer carbon emission KPIs for various sectors, including auto, telecom, e-commerce, manufacturing, and white goods, across full and part truck load, warehousing, and cross-border solutions.
“Mahindra Logistics green logistics ecosystem is a suite of solutions designed to help the company achieve its goal of becoming carbon-neutral by 2040. It includes carbon-neutral warehousing solutions, sustainable transportation practices, an EV fleet for last-mile delivery, plantation initiatives, energy efficiency improvements, and advancements in alternate fuels such as LNG and hydrogen,” the company said.
The initiative underscores Mahindra Logistics’ dedication to sustainability and carbon neutrality, leveraging technology to drive significant environmental impact in the logistics and supply chain sectors.
