Terra Charge has partnered with Smartworks Tech Solution Pvt. Ltd. to install electric vehicle (EV) charging hubs at Smartworks Golfview Towers in Gurugram and Smartworks Corporate Park in Noida. This collaboration aims to provide easy and efficient charging solutions for Smartworks’ members and visitors, promoting the adoption of EVs among the younger, environmentally conscious population of India.

Under the agreement, Terra Charge will set up advanced charging hubs at these two prime Smartworks locations. These hubs will feature Japanese technology to ensure smooth and reliable charging services. The partnership is part of Terra Charge’s broader goal to support the growth of the Indian EV charging market, which is expected to reach USD 5695.6 million by 2030. By installing these facilities, the company aims to make EV charging accessible in commercial spaces, thereby encouraging more people to switch to electric vehicles.

CEO of Terra Charge, Akihiro Ueda, stated, “Our strategic partnership with Smartworks, a leading force in the coworking space industry, is an important step towards our global sustainability goals and ‘mission to zero’ vision. I am hopeful that our collaboration to offer convenient charging solutions at coworking spaces will encourage the younger population to switch to electric vehicles and enable us to accelerate our objective of transforming sustainable transportation in India.”

In Noida, Terra Charge will install one AC and one fast DC charging option, while the Gurugram location will have a single DC charging option. These chargers are already operational and accessible to both Smartworks’ members and visitors. To ensure a seamless charging experience, Terra Charge will provide round-the-clock monitoring and support for the charging hubs.

Terra Charge has already installed over 300 chargers across India, working with both private and state-run entities to offer reliable charging solutions to fleet and individual users. The Japanese company is continually seeking new strategic partnerships to deploy advanced chargers and strengthen its presence in the Indian EV charging market.

This collaboration represents a step forward in promoting sustainable transportation options in India, aligning with Terra Charge’s commitment to advancing global sustainability goals.
