A fun surprise for customers! In a nod to Mustang’s 60 years, we will release another digital gauge cluster for all 2024 Mustang owners. Inspired by the 1999 to 2001 Mustang SVT Cobra, the new cluster design shows the classic white dials during the day and then backlights the gauges in icy blue at night. The seventh-generation Mustang has the most technologically advanced, driver-centric cockpit of any Mustang to date. The 12.4-inch digital instrument panel can be customized to display different animated designs, new drive-mode dependent visuals, and unique digital gauges. Having a digital interior allows us to continually update our vehicles without a trip to the dealership. To celebrate Mustang’s 60th anniversary, we designed two digital clusters (modeled after iconic Mustangs) and revealed these throughout the year via an over-the-air software update. The 1967-1968 gauges were released on the 60th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in April and tomorrow, on Woodward Dream Cruise weekend, the 1999 to 2001 Mustang SVT Cobra gauges will activate at 12:00 a.m. ET. Access these retro gauges by clicking through the available cluster themes on the center screen. Customers can receive these new clusters and future updates by turning ‘On’ Automatic Software Updates and setting a recurring schedule in the Software Updates Settings menu.
