Cars24 Integrates Truecaller platform to strengthen identity verification

CARS24 collaborates with Truecaller to integrate Verified Business Caller ID, Video Caller ID, and 1-Tap verification features, aiming to improve customer trust, streamline interactions, and provide a secure, seamless experience in the pre-owned car market across India, Australia, Thailand, and the UAE.

CARS24, an AutoTech company operating in India, Australia, Thailand, and UAE, has entered into a partnership with Truecaller, a platform for contact verification and communication management. The collaboration aims to address safety and communication concerns in the pre-owned car market.

The partnership utilises Truecaller’s Verified Business Caller ID solution. This feature displays CARS24’s brand name, logo, category, verification tick, and a green badge when calling customers. The intent is to help customers identify legitimate calls related to their transactions.

Additionally, CARS24 is implementing Truecaller’s Video Caller ID and Call Me Back features. Video Caller ID provides a visual element to calls, while Call Reason offers context for the communication. These features are designed to provide additional information to users during the calling process.

CARS24 has implemented additional features from Truecaller’s Customer Experience solutions. One such feature is the Call Me Back function, which allows CARS24 to gather information about customer availability and preferred contact times when important calls are missed. This system is designed to help identify interested customers, manage callback requests, and reduce the need for repeated call attempts.

The company has also adopted Truecaller’s 1-Tap verification solution for customer onboarding. This system does not require OTPs (One-Time Passwords) and is intended to simplify the sign-up process for new customers using CARS24’s app and mobile site. The stated aim is to provide a quicker and more secure online login experience.
