Blue Energy Motors, a green fuel truck manufacturer, has rolled out its 500th truck from its smart manufacturing Chakan facility in Pune.

The fleet of Blue Energy Motors LNG trucks has already covered over 20 million kilometres, leading to a significant reduction of emission of over 5000 tonnes of CO2, the press release noted.
The BE 5528+ tractor was introduced in the market as the first model in September 2022, marking the beginning of Blue Energy Motors’ entry into the LNG-fuelled truck industry. Since its introduction, the BE 5528+ has successfully lowered the logistics carbon footprints of the cement and steel sectors. The truck uses FPT multipoint stoichiometric combustion engine technology and delivers best-in-class TCO and quieter operation compared to conventional fuel-powered trucks.
Blue Energy Motors has a 10,000-truck installed capacity, which can be expanded further as the market develops and demand increases, the press release noted.
