Bajaj has launched the Chetak Blue 3202 at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The Blue 3202 is the renamed Urbane variant with new cells that give it more range while still having the same battery capacity.
The erstwhile Urbane variant of the Chetak was priced at Rs 1.23 lakh and its replacement, the Blue 3202, comes in at a lower Rs 1.15 lakh price tag, which marks a drop of Rs 8,000. At the same time the claimed range figure has risen to 137km (from the previous 126km) and both of these developments are in line with what we reported earlier. A full charge for the Blue 3202 will take 5hr50min through the offboard 650W charger.
The rest of the Chetak Blue 3202 is identical to the Urbane variant in terms of underpinnings and features. That means you get two riding modes – Eco and Sports – and a 73kph top speed. The Blue 3202 also gets keyless ignition and a Bluetooth-compatible colour LCD display, with the optional TecPac equipped (priced at Rs 5,000). It is available in four colours – blue, white, black and grey.
