Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a manufacturer of EV chargers in India, has secured a contract from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) to install 11 DC Fast EV charging stations. These stations will be located at Regional Transport Office (RTO) premises across Karnataka, enhancing the state’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Servotech will oversee the entire project, from planning and design to installation, ensuring that each RTO location has appropriately placed and capable charging stations. The company will manufacture, test, and inspect the stations to meet safety and performance standards. Additionally, Servotech will provide warranty support and manage all necessary electrical connections and power supply arrangements.

Fast chargers, also known as DC fast chargers, significantly reduce the time required to charge electric vehicles (EVs) by delivering higher power levels compared to standard chargers.
These chargers can recharge an EV battery up to 80% in 30-60 minutes, making them essential for long-distance travel and urban use. Their availability plays a key role in promoting EV adoption by addressing concerns about charging time and enhancing convenience for users.
