Bajaj Auto and Triumph motorcycles have introduced two new models to Triumph’s modern classic motorcycle lineup – the all-new Speed T4 and the MY25 Speed 400. Both models maintain Triumph’s signature design, performance, and technology features.
The Speed T4 is a new addition to the 400cc modern classic family, designed for riders who prefer a more relaxed riding experience. With low-end torque and increased engine inertia, the Speed T4 provides enhanced rideability at lower speeds, requiring fewer gear shifts. The bike is equipped with manual throttle control, a slipper clutch, 43 mm telescopic forks, dual-channel ABS, and a USB-equipped console. Available in three colors—Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red, and Phantom Black—the Speed T4 is priced at ₹2,17,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
This updated model features high-profile tires, improved seating comfort, and adjustable levers, enhancing its performance-oriented appeal. It retains key features such as ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, torque-assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS for improved handling. The MY25 Speed 400 is available in four new color options—Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, and Phantom Black—and is priced at ₹2,40,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Both models are powered by the 398cc TR-Series engine and continue the modern classic roadster design, combining traditional aesthetics with contemporary engineering.
Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd., stated, “With the Speed T4 and MY25 Speed 400, we aim to provide a diverse range of options for both relaxed and performance-focused riders. The Triumph and Bajaj partnership has resulted in over 60,000 TR-series motorcycles being distributed across 50 countries, including India, and we look forward to continuing this growth.”
Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles entered a partnership aimed at expanding Triumph’s presence in India and other global markets. The alliance combines Triumph’s engineering and design expertise with Bajaj’s extensive manufacturing capabilities and distribution network. Since the partnership began, the companies have worked together to develop and introduce models that balance modern technology with classic design, targeting a broader audience while maintaining the distinct identity of the Triumph brand.
Triumph Motorcycles, founded in 1902 in the UK, is known for producing iconic motorcycles with a blend of classic design and modern engineering. With models like the Bonneville and Thruxton, Triumph has a rich heritage in motorcycling, offering bikes recognized for their performance and timeless style.
