STATEMENTS
José López-Tafall, general director of ANFAC, indicated that “the month of September has been a positive month, exceeding 14% market share, a figure well above the annual average which is below 11%. While it is true that sales of plug-in models have suffered an upward rally greatly influenced by specific commercial decisions, the good thing is that citizens have decided to buy electrified ones. We are three months away from the end of the year and at ANFAC we insist that this quarter is an unbeatable time to make the leap into electromobility. Until the end of the year there are funds from the MOVES III plan, with up to 7,000 euros for the purchase of an electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid with more than 90 km of electric range, which reaches 9,000 in the case of commercial vehicles. Added to them, also until the end of the year, is a 15% personal income tax deduction, with a limit of 3,000 euros. Today, and although we continue to insist that the Government have an aid plan in 2025, the reality is that all this support disappears in December. That’s why now is a good time, and September data reveals that customers know it too.”
