The administrative court of Montreuil “considers that the measures of information of the social and economic committee of the company, reclassification and prevention of psycho-social risks were sufficient, in particular with regard to the means available to the company since its placement in liquidation”, writes the court in a press release.
The company was placed in compulsory liquidation in the spring after Stellantis refused a 12% price revaluation due to rising production costs. The factory derived 80% of its turnover from its orders for Stellantis.
Formerly owned by PSA, sold in 2002 to the Italian group CLN, MA France stamped essential bodywork parts for small utility vehicles Peugeot (Expert) or Citroën (Jumpy), and also for Renault.
For five months, MA France employees have been occupying their factory to demand reclassification assistance and an improved bonus compared to the 15,000 euros per person currently offered. They denounce a PES that is unsuitable for their personal situations, with job offers at hundreds of kilometers.
This Aulnay-sous-Bois site was the last automobile factory in Seine-Saint-Denis, formerly one of the densest areas of activity in the sector, with the neighboring PSA factory. 280 people worked there.
