It features Hi-Ride suspension with a double wishbone system, which enhances comfort and stability. Other functional features include a shorter wheelbase, good ground clearance, larger tires, and a smaller turning radius, improving maneuverability in tight areas.

In terms of active safety, the vehicle includes Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Intelligent Brake Over-ride System (BOS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). For passive safety, it includes features such as pedestrian-friendly front design, seat belts with pre-tensioners, airbags for the driver and co-driver, a collapsible steering column, and side intrusion protection beams in the front cabin.

The front cabin of the ISUZU D-MAX Ambulance is designed for comfort, with twin cockpit ergonomic seating, high-quality fabric upholstery, and air-conditioning to ensure a fatigue-free ride for both the driver and co-driver.

The patient transport compartment is fully equipped according to AIS-125 Type C specifications. It includes warning lights, sirens, high-visibility stickers, and is constructed with rust-free and hygienic materials. The rear section of the ambulance features wide-opening doors for easy access, along with a ramp for handling the stretcher. The interior layout allows for efficient medical care, with thoughtfully placed storage units, a sliding window with a privacy curtain, and external storage for oxygen cylinders.
