An Audi A6L, manufactured in Changchun, Jilin province, was handed over to the Cyprus Embassy in Beijing on Wednesday to serve as its top diplomatic service vehicle.

Frances Galatia Lanitou Williams, the ambassador of Cyprus to China, expressed her appreciation for the model’s top-notch quality standards, as well as the brand’s pursuit of excellence and innovation.

The A6L, produced by FAW-Volkswagen, has been one of the most popular executive sedans in China and is often chosen as a flagship diplomatic service vehicle.

To date, over 1,000 A6Ls have been delivered to more than 20 embassies, consulates, and international organizations in China.

Cumulative sales of the A6 family, with the A6L as its core product, have reached 3 million units in China, making it the best-selling model in the country’s premium vehicle market.
