BLive EZY has introduced a fleet of 1,000 EVs to address the surge in quick commerce deliveries during the festive season. As online shopping demand peaks, the quick commerce market in India is projected to reach $5.5 billion by 2025, driven by platforms like Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto, along with new entrants like Nykaa and Reliance.
Samarth Kholkar, CEO and co-founder of BLive, said, “Our customized EV fleet solution addresses both the rapid delivery challenges of today’s consumers and the sustainability goals of modern businesses.” The deployment aims to help delivery services scale efficiently while reducing their environmental impact, with an expected annual reduction of 4,600 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions.
BLive EZY’s fleet is designed to meet the demands for ultra-fast delivery, with consumers expecting orders within 10-15 minutes. The EVs are equipped with advanced technology, including IoT devices for performance tracking and an AI-powered route optimization system that reduces delivery times by 15-20% based on real-time conditions.
Each vehicle features an extended range to alleviate concerns about battery life, enabling riders to complete more deliveries per charge. The EVs also provide additional storage space, which is beneficial for grocery deliveries, which make up 50-60% of quick commerce orders.
The tech platform supporting BLive EZY is designed for ease of onboarding, allowing riders to maximize their delivery capacity during the high-demand festive season.
This rollout sets a new benchmark in India’s last-mile delivery ecosystem, combining sustainability, technology, and rider convenience. BLive EZY is currently operational in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, positioning itself as a leader in the quick commerce industry.
