The carmaker Porsche wants to prevent after the diesel raid last week that investigators sift through the seized documents. That said a spokesman for the Stuttgart prosecutor on Wednesday.

Earlier, the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” reported on it. Porsche have filed a full opposition to the preliminary seizure of the sighting, said the spokesman for the prosecution. Accordingly, in a next step, the District Court must decide whether the public prosecutor’s office may search the documents for incriminating material or not.

In the context of the diesel affair, volunteers had searched several Porsche locations just over a week ago, including the headquarters in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and the development center in Weissach. Background are possible manipulations in the exhaust gas purification of diesel cars. Porsche rejects the allegations.

The seized documents go according to the speaker for the time being not back to Porsche. “First, they stay where they are. But you do not sight them yet. “
