Formula E is an all-electric racing series launched in 2014, aiming to promote sustainable mobility in motorsport. Governed by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), it features single-seater electric vehicles that compete on urban circuits worldwide. The championship offers a platform for automakers and technology firms to develop and test electric vehicle technologies, including advancements in battery efficiency, power management, and electric drivetrain systems.

With races held in major cities like Berlin, Rome, and New York, Formula E showcases electric motorsport to a broad audience while encouraging city-based electrification. The series includes unique elements, such as “Fan Boost,” which allows fans to influence the race by voting for drivers to receive additional power. Formula E’s primary objective is to raise awareness about electric vehicles and contribute to sustainable transportation development, fostering innovation in electric mobility solutions through high-profile competitive racing.
