STATEMENTS

José López-Tafall, general director of ANFAC He indicated that “despite the slight drop this month, the electrified market is still above the previous year and that is a good sign. These figures, although below the desired pace, indicate that citizens are interested in making the leap to electrification. And now is the right time, because until the end of the year the purchase of an electrified vehicle has aid of up to 7,000 euros for the purchase of a pure electric vehicle, and up to 9,000 euros for commercial vehicles. In addition to a 15% deduction in personal income tax with a limit of 3,000 euros. Both grants end in December and, at the moment, we do not know if they will continue. For ANFAC, the challenge of achieving the severe electrification objectives in 2025 would require enabling the necessary conditions and tools to make the jump to new vehicles easier for citizens and companies. For this reason, these financial aid granted by the MOVES Plan must be maintained in 2025, as the Government is requesting. “We must convey a message to the citizen that electrification does not end in 2024.”
