Green Motion, a global franchised car rental brand, recently launched its newest South American franchise in Peru.
Local car rental entrepreneur Karina Sotomayor acquired the franchise, which will start operating in Lima, the nation’s vibrant capital and economic hub.
The launch marks a big step in Green Motion’s strategic growth across the Americas, bringing the company’s eco-friendly car rental options. The company is known for its commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting green initiatives.
“This is a testament to the growing demand for sustainable car rental options in South America, and we support the movement toward a greener future in the region,” said Richard Lowden, CEO and founder of Green Motion, in a Jan. 3 news release.
The Lima franchise positions Green Motion to serve international tourists exploring Peru’s landscapes and local customers seeking reliable rental vehicle options.
The Green Motion team will be at the FITUR Travel Show in Madrid from Jan. 22-24.
