A consumer recall was published on January 31, 2025 for a dozen models of hybrid vehicles produced by the manufacturer Stellantis. Among the Peugeot, Opel, Citroën brands, what are the models concerned? We explain to you.

The consumption recall sheets point out the potential problem that could arise in these cars: “Due to a weakness in the crimping interface of the quick coupling fitting fitted on the high pressure fuel pump, a leak can occur in The fuel pipe inside the engine compartment. This can lead to the fire of the vehicle ”.
Three brands of the manufacturer Stellantis are affected by these reminders. The owners are invited to get closer to their dealer, they will also be contacted by the Stellantis group if not already done. All costs related to a manufacturer’s reminder must be fully supported by the automaker, at no cost for the owner of the vehicle.
1,500 cars of the group would be affected according to information from our colleagues from the East Republican, it is a very small part of the production that is affected. For the Peugeot brand, the cars recalled come from Sochaux production sites in the Doubs, and from the Mulhouse factory.

The cars concerned are 308 III, 408, 3008 II, 3008 III, 5008 II, 5008 III with MHEV and PHEV hybrid engines marketed between December 5, 2023 and September 14, 2024. See the detail in the consumption recall sheet.

In January 2025, around 20,500 Peugeot 3008 and 5008 hybrids and electrics were recalled due to possibly defective screws on the front axle. These vehicles had been produced between July 17, 2023 and November 29, 2024.

The cars concerned are Astra L, Grandland X, Grandland with hybrid engines MHEV and PHEV. They were marketed between January 2, 2024 and September 13, 2024. See the detail in the consumption recall sheet.
