
Billion Electric Mobility (BillionE) has appointed Pirojshaw Sarkari (Phil) as the lead of its advisory council to oversee the development of a robust EV charging network for electric trucks and buses along highways. Sarkari, a seasoned logistics and supply chain management professional with over 30 years of experience, will leverage his expertise to expand Billion Electric’s infrastructure and ensure its reliability and accessibility. This appointment aims to facilitate the seamless operation of electric commercial vehicles and promote EV adoption in India.
To boost the network expansion
Billion Electric Mobility is an E-Mobility as a Service (eMaaS) platform. The company is focusing on building a charging infrastructure to support the growing adoption of electric trucks and buses in India. Sarkari’s role will be crucial in developing a network of charging stations along highways, addressing a key challenge for long-haul electric vehicles.
Sarkari’s extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly in scaling businesses and driving operational excellence, aligns with Billion Electric’s goal of establishing a comprehensive charging ecosystem. His leadership is expected to accelerate the development and expansion of this crucial infrastructure.

A veteran in logistics
Sarkari is a Chartered Accountant with a career spanning over three decades in the logistics industry, primarily with startups and high-growth companies. He has played significant roles in establishing global logistics giants Aramex and UPS in India. He also launched and served as CEO of Mahindra Logistics for nearly a decade.
