Kia Corporation will host its second annual EV Day at the Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain, building on the success of its inaugural event in South Korea last year. The event will showcase the company’s latest electric vehicles and its vision for sustainable mobility innovation.
The highlight of the event will be the global debut of three significant models: the production version of the Kia EV4, previously shown as a concept at the first EV Day; the Kia PV5, the company’s first dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model initially unveiled as a concept at CES 2024; and the all-new Concept EV2, the latest addition to Kia’s electric vehicle lineup.
The company has released teaser images and video footage showcasing the vehicles’ design elements, based on Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy. These models include advanced electric platform technology to meet various customer needs in both passenger and business sectors.
During the event, Kia will detail its PBV strategy, including business plans, vision, product lineup, and launch timeline for the PV5. The company will also showcase its innovative battery electric skateboard architecture, a platform designed to accommodate various vehicle body types flexibly.
Senior leadership team members will present Kia’s expanded electrification strategy, which the company believes will revolutionize the global EV market. The event proceedings will be made available on the Kia Worldwide YouTube channel in March, allowing global audiences to witness the company’s latest developments in sustainable mobility.
