Renault Launches Kiger 2025 and Triber 2025 with Enhanced Features

Renault India has announced significant updates to its Kiger and Triber vehicle lines for 2025, focusing on enhanced accessibility and improved features across all variants. The automaker’s latest move demonstrates its commitment to the Indian market through strategic pricing and feature upgrades.

The most notable introduction is the Kiger RXT(O) Turbo CVT, now positioned as an entry point to automatic turbo vehicles in its segment at Rs 9.99 lacs. This strategic pricing aims to make turbocharged automatic vehicles more accessible to Indian consumers.

In response to customer feedback, Renault has standardized several features across both model ranges. All variants now come equipped with power windows for all doors and remote central locking. The RXL and higher variants feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, along with a rear-view camera.

“India holds a significant place in Renault’s global strategy,” said Venkatram M, Country CEO & Managing Director of Renault India. “These updates reflect our commitment to providing smart, accessible mobility solutions tailored to Indian customers’ evolving needs.”

The 2025 updates extend to both models’ safety features, with 17 safety elements now standard across all variants. Additionally, all Renault models are now E-20 compliant, aligning with India’s push toward more sustainable fuel options.

Technical specifications remain competitive, with both vehicles powered by 999cc, 3-cylinder engines. The Kiger offers multiple powertrain options, including the Energy MT & AMT variants producing 72 PS, and Turbo variants delivering 100 PS. The Triber continues with its proven 72 PS engine configuration, maintaining its position in the market.

Renault has also enhanced its after-sales support, introducing a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty for new customers, with an optional extension to 7 years with unlimited kilometer coverage. This move strengthens the company’s commitment to customer service in the Indian market.

The manufacturer’s investment in India is further evidenced by the recent opening of its flagship new’R store in Ambattur, Chennai, marking the global debut of Renault’s new retail architecture concept. This development underscores India’s importance in Renault’s global strategy.

Renault India maintains a substantial presence across the country with approximately 380 sales locations and 450 service points, including 210 mobile service units through its Workshop on Wheels program. The company’s manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Chennai, maintains an annual production capacity of 480,000 units, supporting both domestic sales and export operations.
