Berlin-headquartered ENAPI, developer of an EV charging software platform to facilitate communication of transaction data between charge point operators (CPOs) and e-mobility service providers (eMSPs), has raised €7.5 million in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Voyager Ventures. This latest round brings ENAPI’s total funding to €10 million.
The company’s network encompasses 350,000 charge points in partnership with 8 of Europe’s 10 largest eMSPs. In addition to expanding its presence in Europe and the US and adding to its technical team, the company will use the funding to unify, commoditize and scale connectivity in the EV charging ecosystem and provide drivers with a seamless charging experience.
The platform allows CPOs to retain full control and flexibility, and also to benefit from zero transaction costs and improved data quality.
“ENAPI’s infrastructure is revolutionizing how the EV charging industry collaborates, addressing fragmentation head-on,” said Voyager Ventures founding partner Sierra Peterson, who has been appointed to ENAPI’s board. “Its technology is foundational to unlocking a seamless, scalable and cost-effective charging network.”
