Montra Electric has entered into a strategic partnership with Steam-A to integrate the iris EV charging management suite into its powerdock charging network.
This collaboration will strengthen the company’s efforts to expand its charging infrastructure, which supports its growing base of electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs), particularly the newly launched Eviator model, the company said.
The integration of Steam-A’s Iris platform aims to improve the efficiency of Montra Electric’s charging network. The software enhances network operations with real-time insights, AI-driven predictive maintenance, and seamless EV roaming capabilities.
One of the key features of the Iris platform is its predictive failure management system, which helps reduce operational costs and maximises charger uptime. This is expected to create a more cost-effective and reliable charging ecosystem, facilitating the broader adoption of electric mobility, the company said.
Commitment to sustainable mobility
Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Vehicles (Montra Electric’s e-SCV division), expressed, “We are excited to join hands with Steam-A. Our vision at Montra Electric is to drive electrification in commercial logistics and empower customers to transition to electric mobility with confidence. By integrating Steam-A’s Iris platform into our Powerdock network, we are strengthening our commitment to innovation and customer-first solutions.”
Vishwanath Surendiran, co-founder of Steam-A, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Montra Electric on their journey of making mobility more sustainable.
