Airvet, a Los Angeles, CA-based pet telehealth company, raised $11M in Series B-2 funding.

The round was led by HighlandX with participation from HIPstr, the early-stage investment arm of HighPost Capital, founded by David Moross and Mark Bezos.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO and Founder Brandon Werber, Airvet is a provider of a pet telehealth platform allowing employees to get access to veterinary care. Pet parents connect instantly via video or chat with a network of over 2,000 licensed veterinarians and care providers to receive care for their pets.

Since moving into the employee benefits space in 2022, Airvet has expanded its platform to serve blue chip employers like PepsiCo, Adobe, Apollo Global Management, Synchrony Financial, Levi’s, Lyft, and Manulife, support their pet families, who make up the vast majority of their workforce, access necessary veterinary care without the financial and time burden of an in-person vet or ER visit. Over the last year, Airvet has set employee utilization records through the expansion of its care platform to include additional services like online pharmacy, e-prescriptions, discounted pet insurance, wellness programs, and specialty care. The company also recently announced its rollout of multi-lingual experiences in Spanish and French.

Clients include brands across more than 16 different categories, including Software and Technology, Media and Entertainment, Healthcare, Consulting, Financial Services, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, and CPG.
