Singer Electric, a full-service electrical contractor headquartered in New Zealand, has collaborated with Bulgaria-based EV charging management software provider AMPECO to integrate AMPECO’s platform into Singer’s Apollo ecosystem.
The partnership aims to establish the largest managed EV charging network in New Zealand by the end of June 2025.
Singer Electric has already installed more than 2,000 chargers, and more than 500 of them are currently managed by the AMPECO platform. The companies plan to reach 1,000 managed chargers by the third quarter and 2,500 by the end of 2025.
Among Singer’s major clients are Auckland Transport, Westfield shopping centers and the Department of Corrections.
Singer says that leveraging AMPECO’s market-tested, hardware-agnostic platform instead of developing an in-house alternative saved at least a year of development time, enabling the company to capitalize on immediate market opportunities.
“As New Zealand accelerates toward a sustainable future,” said Singer’s Finn McLaren, Head of Sales and Marketing, “they need partners who understand both the electrical infrastructure and the management systems that make charging networks efficient and profitable.”
