One of the big challenges for rental car operations, especially independents, is connecting untapped demand with available fleet supply.

A session at the International Car Rental Show, “New Strategies for Smaller Rental Companies to Gain Inbound Traffic,” will look at how online, real-time marketplace platforms can help rental car companies generate more revenue. The session will be held on April 16 at 10:30 am at the Paris Las Vegas conference center.

Session panelists include Alen Baibekov, CEO and co-founder of the Booking Group; Vitaly Cvetkov, head of growth for the Booking Group; and Jason Manelli, president of Rent-A-Wreck.

Among key points, the session will cover:

  • How to efficiently rent or lease out your fleet to generate revenue that wasn’t accessible before.
  • Leading sources of inbound business and how their needs and demands are evolving
  • The differences between online marketplaces, brokers, online travel agencies (OTAs) and (global distribution systems) GDSs, and how they work with rental car operators.
  • How to use real estate to boost the marketing of a rental fleet and access broader sources of business.
  • How to grow a solid, sustainable rental car clientele over time
  • How to use products to manage and complement ways of getting inbound business

The International Car Rental Show will be held April 14-16 and bring together the owners, operators, executives, and managers of various rental car operations for three days of networking, education, and vendor business connections. REGISTRATION HERE
