Lucid Motors has revealed the 2026 Lucid Gravity, its full-size, three-row, electric SUV designed to pair the storage space of an SUV with the performance of a luxury sports car.
Among its key features are an estimated 450-mile (724-km) driving range, and its fast-charging capability that allows 200 miles (321 km) of range to be replenished in under 11 minutes. Much like Lucid’s other models, the 2026 Gravity will be offered in two trims: Touring and Grand Touring.
In terms of performance, the 2026 Gravity deploys an all-new platform. Using it, the Grand Touring variant offers two motors, all-wheel drive, and 828 hp (617 kW) as part of a setup that allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.4 seconds. Lucid’s charging technologies support this setup further, employing the OEM’s rear motor drive unit to boost the charging voltage of 500V to match the 926V offered by the battery pack.
This solution permits charging with the highest voltage a charging station is capable of, enabling the more efficient utilization of electrical current and consequent reduction of cable heat. This, in turn, allows the 2026 Gravity model to be compatible with 500V and 1000V charging networks and the maximum charging speeds on whichever charger is most accessible. Altogether, at peak charging rates, Lucid says this functionality allows for 200 miles (321 km) of range to be added within 11 minutes of charging.
Inside, the new Gravity model introduces the Clearview Cockpit, which Lucid calls the next evolution of its user interface. Spearheaded by a 6K OLED 34-inch curved display that ‘floats’ above the steering wheel, this new infotainment system also features a newly designed, horizontally oriented, Full HD Pilot Panel with a quick-access touch bar.
Hosted on the display, the Lucid UX 3.0 operating system offers a customizable interface for drivers and passengers, while facilitating OTA software updates from Lucid’s in-house update framework. An optional AR HUD aligns key information with the driver’s line of sight to support navigation and interaction with the vehicle, without the need for the driver to take their eyes off the road.
Lucid confirmed that pricing for the 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring will start from $94,900 (£71,438 / €83,516), and is available to order now, while the Lucid Gravity Touring is priced from $79,900 (£60,146 / €70,314), with orders for this variant set to open later in 2025.
