Global EV charging network bp pulse, a subsidiary of bp with US headquarters in Houston, has opened an EV charging site near Boston Logan Airport—its first in Massachusetts.
The site is open to the public and offers 20 charging bays with a mix of 400 kW and 150 kW DC chargers.
bp pulse has more than 40,000 charge points worldwide and a US presence in 17 states. It has plans for the nationwide launch of charging hubs near airports and other high-demand locations in collaboration with Hertz.
“The Boston Gigahub is a significant step in our efforts to build a strategic and robust network of ultrafast chargers in the US,” said bp pulse Americas CEO Sujay Sharma. “Airport locations in particular enable us to offer efficient and convenient charging solutions for EV drivers, rental car customers and ride-hail drivers alike.”
