Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) and Jio-bp have announced a strategic partnership to enhance fuel offerings and improve customer experience at their fuel retail outlets. As part of the agreement, ATGL will offer Jio-bp’s high-performance liquid fuels (petrol and diesel) at select stations, while Jio-bp will integrate ATGL’s CNG dispensing units at its fuel outlets located within ATGL’s authorized Geographical Areas (GAs).
ATGL, a joint venture between Adani and TotalEnergies, is a major player in India’s city gas distribution sector. The company currently operates around 650 CNG stations across the country. Jio-bp, a joint venture of Reliance Industries Limited and bp, has a strong presence in the fuel retail space with about 2,000 outlets, along with offerings in electric vehicle charging, compressed biogas, and doorstep diesel delivery.
Speaking on the collaboration, Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp, highlighted the companies’ shared vision to deliver high-quality fuels and value-added services. Suresh P. Manglani, Executive Director and CEO of ATGL, emphasized that the partnership would enable better infrastructure utilization and improve customer offerings at their outlets.
The agreement covers both current and upcoming stations of both partners, and is expected to play a significant role in strengthening fuel availability and service quality. The collaboration also aligns with both companies’ broader goals of sustainable growth and innovation in India’s energy and mobility ecosystem.
