Automotive spare parts aggregator Garaaz has secured ₹4.55 crore in a seed funding round led by GVFL. The funding will be used to expand operations across new states, strengthen local distribution and partnerships, invest in research and development, and build support infrastructure.

Garaaz, founded in 2019, operates a SaaS-based aggregator platform aimed at connecting distributors and unorganised workshops. It offers part identification, availability, and delivery across a catalogue of over 8 million parts from 25 car brands. The company has grown 3X in the last two years, with sales doubling in FY24–25 compared to the previous year.

Digital infrastructure and growth plans

The company will use the funds to enhance platform features, build backend systems, and invest in artificial intelligence and machine learning for process automation. It also plans to improve procurement and logistics systems, and ensure compliance and data security.

Mihir Joshi, Managing Director, GVFL, said, “The spare parts ecosystem for the auto industry is highly fragmented, with thousands of small distributors, middlemen, and local suppliers leading to inefficiencies and a lack of standardisation. Garaaz is addressing the issue by connecting key stakeholders—brands, distributors/retailers, and workshops—while fostering trust and transparency.”

Supporting India’s aftermarket sector

Shaleen Agarwal, CEO and Founder, Garaaz, said, “We’re not just delivering spare parts — we’re powering the heart of India’s workshop economy. Every order, every delivery, every connection is backed by a tech backbone that scales trust, transparency, and efficiency across the aftermarket.”

India’s automotive aftermarket sector is projected to grow from $10 billion in 2023 to $14 billion by 2028, offering opportunities for platforms like Garaaz to digitise and organise the workshop ecosystem.
