Tata Elxsi, a global design and technology services company, announced a partnership with San Francisco-based KAVIA AI on July 29, 2025. The collaboration aims to deploy artificial intelligence automation across software development lifecycle processes for enterprise clients.
KAVIA AI operates a cloud-native platform that automates software development stages including planning, architecture design, code creation, testing, and deployment. The platform is designed to handle large-scale code bases and complex backend systems for enterprise applications.
The partnership will focus on serving clients in transportation, media, communications, and healthcare industries. Tata Elxsi will integrate KAVIA AI’s automation tools into both its internal platforms and customer-facing programs. Early deployments are already underway across multiple programs including software-as-a-service platforms, middleware, embedded systems, and device development.
Nitin Pai, Chief Strategy Officer at Tata Elxsi, stated that the partnership addresses enterprise needs for scaling AI automation in mission-critical environments. He emphasized the company’s 25 years of experience in software engineering across regulated industries.
Labeeb Ismail, CEO of KAVIA AI, said the partnership leverages Tata Elxsi’s delivery capabilities to implement AI technology in large-scale enterprise environments.
Tata Elxsi, established 35 years ago, provides design and technology services across automotive, media, healthcare, and communications sectors. The company operates several AI platforms including TEDAX for data intelligence, IRIS for industrial AI, TETHER for connected vehicle services, NEURON for content personalization, and TECare for digital therapeutics.
KAVIA AI describes its platform as “software 3.0” technology that automates the complete software development process from planning through maintenance. The platform operates as a cloud-native solution designed for enterprise-scale implementations.
The partnership represents both companies’ efforts to address enterprise demand for AI-powered development tools that can accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality and compliance standards in regulated industries.
