Bajaj Auto sales up 3% to 3,66,000 units in July

Bajaj Auto reported total sales of 3,66,000 units in July 2025, marking a 3 per cent year-on-year increase from 3,54,169 units sold in July 2024. This includes both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles across domestic and export markets.


Exports drive overall growth


While domestic sales declined by 13 per cent to 1,83,143 units in July 2025 from 2,10,997 units a year earlier, exports rose by 28 per cent, reaching 1,82,857 units compared to 1,43,172 units in July 2024. This export-led performance offset the domestic slowdown, resulting in overall growth.
Two-wheeler domestic sales stood at 1,39,279 units, down from 1,68,847 units in the same month last year—a fall of 18 per cent. However, two-wheeler exports increased by 22 per cent to 1,56,968 units from 1,28,694 units.

In the commercial vehicle segment, domestic sales rose marginally by 4 per cent to 43,864 units, while exports surged by 79 per cent to 25,889 units. Total commercial vehicle sales for July reached 69,753 units, up from 56,628 in July 2024, reflecting a 23 per cent increase.


Year-to-date snapshot


For the period April to July 2025, Bajaj Auto’s total sales reached 14,77,237 units, up 1 per cent from 14,56,225 units in the same period last year. While domestic volumes for this period dropped 9 per cent, export volumes increased by 19 per cent. Two-wheeler exports during this period stood at 5,76,415 units, compared to 4,97,114 units a year ago.
