TVS Motor Company posted robust growth in July 2025, registering total sales of 456,350 units, up 29 per cent from 354,140 units in July 2024. The strong performance was led by all product categories and a record rise in international business.
Two-wheeler sales
Two-wheeler sales rose 29 per cent year-on-year to 438,790 units. In the domestic market, the company sold 308,720 units, up 21 per cent from the same month last year. Scooters led the surge with a 42 per cent jump to 198,265 units, while motorcycles saw a 25 per cent increase to 201,494 units.
Electric vehicle sales rose modestly by 10 per cent, reaching 23,605 units, amid continued challenges in rare-earth magnet availability.
The company recorded its highest-ever two-wheeler exports, which rose 52 per cent to 130,070 units. Total exports—including three-wheelers—stood at 142,629 units, a 46 per cent year-on-year growth.
Three-wheeler sales
Three-wheeler sales also showed steady improvement, growing 21 per cent to 17,560 units in July 2025.
TVS said the growth reflects strong domestic demand and a rebound in international markets. The company continues to monitor supply chain pressures in the electric mobility space while maintaining an optimistic outlook across geographies.
