DriveX Mobility launched DriveX Direct, a consumer-to-consumer platform for pre-owned two-wheeler sales, in over 20 cities across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka on Monday. The company aims to address fragmentation in India’s C2C two-wheeler market through verified listings, transparent pricing, and post-sale services, with plans to expand to other major cities by year-end.
The platform targets India’s C2C two-wheeler market, which represents 44% of used two-wheeler sales. DriveX Direct offers direct transactions without platform fees, AI-based pricing suggestions, document verification, fraud protection, and financing options through partner networks.
Early pilot results in Bangalore showed buyers completing purchases within five days and sellers completing sales within 10 days of listing. The platform uses AI-driven pricing engines and fraud detection tools to identify issues such as RC mismatches and duplicate listings.
DriveX Direct provides sellers with guided self-inspection flows and connects them with verified buyers. Services include RTO checks, RC transfers, insurance assistance, warranty options, and vehicle technical inspections. The company plans to introduce a secure payment system that will hold buyer payments until documentation and delivery are completed.

The platform will offer multilingual customer support and plans to introduce multilingual interface options. DriveX targets over 20,000 listings within 6-12 months and plans to scale value-added services including finance, insurance, warranty, refurbishment, and post-purchase servicing. A mobile application is under consideration for future development phases.
As a launch promotion, DriveX Direct offers free listings and promotional visibility for 60 days. Early users receive priority access to retail finance, RC transfers, and insurance assistance.
