Bajaj Auto Ltd, the world’s most valuable two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, on Tuesday said it will fully pass on the benefits of the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) reduction to customers across its Bajaj and KTM motorcycle range as well as its three-wheelers.
Effective from September 22, 2025, prices will drop by up to ₹20,000 on two-wheelers and up to ₹24,000 on three-wheelers, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The move comes ahead of the festive season and is expected to lift consumer sentiment. “The government’s decision to reduce GST for most two-wheelers and three-wheelers is a bold step forward, which will unlock their demand and set the industry on a firm growth path,” said Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto Ltd.
He added that the reform will make mobility more affordable and accessible, directly benefiting families, daily commuters, and small business owners who rely on two- and three-wheelers.
Bajaj Auto, which exports motorcycles to over 100 countries and is the world’s largest three-wheeler maker, said the initiative reaffirms its commitment to keeping mobility aspirational yet accessible.
