The German luxury automaker offers price cuts up to Rs 13.6 lakh across BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad model ranges, with customers accessing dual benefits from financial schemes and revised taxation.
Entry-Level Sedan Segment Price Cuts
BMW’s entry-level sedans receive notable price reductions, with the 2 Series Gran Coupe dropping from Rs 46.90 lakh to Rs 45.30 lakh, saving buyers Rs 1.60 lakh. The popular 3 Series Long Wheelbase variants see larger cuts, falling from Rs 63.90-64.00 lakh to Rs 60.45-60.55 lakh, representing reductions of Rs 3.45-3.55 lakh. The BMW M340i performance variant drops from Rs 78.20 lakh to Rs 73.95 lakh, providing savings of Rs 4.25 lakh.
Mid-Size and Full-Size Luxury Sedans
The 5 Series Long Wheelbase experiences a Rs 4.15 lakh reduction, moving from Rs 76.50 lakh to Rs 72.35 lakh. BMW’s flagship 7 Series models achieve substantial savings, with the 740d M Sport falling from Rs 1.93 crore to Rs 1.82 crore and the 740i M Sport dropping from Rs 1.90 crore to Rs 1.79 crore.
Compact SUV and Entry-Level Crossover Pricing
The X1 SUV range sees price cuts from Rs 52.40-55.90 lakh to Rs 50.60-52.15 lakh, offering savings between Rs 1.75-1.80 lakh. The X3 models drop significantly, with the xDrive20d M Sport falling from Rs 78.30 lakh to Rs 73.10 lakh and the xDrive20 M Sport declining from Rs 76.30 lakh to Rs 71.20 lakh.
Mid-Size and Full-Size Luxury SUVs
BMW’s X5 lineup experiences major reductions, with prices falling from Rs 1.00-1.15 crore to Rs 93.60-1.07 crore, representing cuts of Rs 6.40-7.65 lakh. The flagship X7 range achieves the largest absolute savings, dropping from Rs 1.34-1.38 crore to Rs 1.25-1.29 crore, providing reductions of Rs 8.95-9.25 lakh.
Performance M Series and Sports Cars
BMW’s M series performance vehicles receive substantial cuts, with the M2 falling from Rs 1.06 crore to Rs 1.00 crore. The M4 Competition drops from Rs 1.61 crore to Rs 1.52 crore, while the flagship M8 sees reductions from Rs 2.52 crore to Rs 2.38 crore. The Z4 M40i roadster falls from Rs 92.90 lakh to Rs 87.90 lakh, providing Rs 5 lakh in savings.
MINI Brand Price Adjustments
MINI Cooper S variants experience cuts ranging from Rs 2.50-3.10 lakh across different configurations. The Essential Pack drops from Rs 46.20 lakh to Rs 43.70 lakh, while the JCW Pack falls from Rs 57.50 lakh to Rs 54.40 lakh.
Electric Vehicle Pricing Strategy
Electric BMW models including the iX1, i5, iX, and i7 variants maintain current pricing structures as GST rates for electric vehicles remain unchanged at 5%. The iX1 eDrive20L M Sport continues at Rs 49.9 lakh, while the flagship i7 M70 stays priced at Rs 2.58 crore.
BMW Motorrad Price Adjustments
BMW’s motorcycle division also benefits from GST 2.0 reforms, with the G 310 RR dropping from Rs 3.05 lakh to Rs 2.81 lakh, representing a Rs 24,000 reduction. The C 400 GT maxi-scooter falls from Rs 11.75 lakh to Rs 10.83 lakh, offering savings of Rs 92,000.
