London. The leaderboard of the BMW PGA Championship saw significant changes during the third round. Except for Sweden’s Ludvig Åberg and Norway’s Viktor Hovland, none of the players who were in the top five on Friday managed to stay in the top 10. Moving in the opposite direction were Alex Noren, the 2017 BMW PGA Championship winner, and Adrien Saddier. With rounds of 66 and 65 respectively, the Swede and the Frenchman now share the lead at 15 under par. One stroke better today was another former Wentworth winner: Tyrrell Hatton (ENG) carded a 64 and sits at 13 under par in third place. Chasing this trio is a large group of contenders, including Hovland (-12, 4th), Matt Fitzpatrick, Harry Hall (both ENG), and Åberg (all -10, T6).
