The scooter is positioned in what the company describes as the largest sub-segment of the 110cc commuter category. Hero MotoCorp markets the vehicle under the tagline “Hero Ka Scooter – Scooter Ka Hero,” emphasizing its intended role as a versatile family transportation option.
The Destini 110 is powered by a 110cc engine equipped with Hero’s i3s (Idle Stop-Start System) technology. The company claims the scooter delivers a fuel efficiency of 56.2 kilometers per liter, which it says is segment-leading. The vehicle also features a one-way clutch system designed for smoother operation.
Key specifications include a 785-millimeter seat length, which Hero MotoCorp states is the longest in its segment. The seat incorporates an integrated backrest and is designed to accommodate both rider and passenger comfort. The scooter runs on 12-inch wheels with 90/90 front and 100/80 rear tire configurations.
“The 110cc scooter segment is the largest and the most competitive in the country, catering to millions of families and young riders alike,” said Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer of Hero MotoCorp’s India Business Unit. The company views the launch as strengthening its position in the scooter market while supporting overall volume growth.
The Destini 110 features what the manufacturer calls a “Neo Retro” design with chrome accents, projector LED headlamp, and H-shaped LED tail lamps. The body incorporates three large metal panels, which the company says enhance durability for daily commuting use.
Additional features include a front glove compartment, boot lamp in the luggage compartment, analog-digital speedometer display, and a 190mm front disc brake system on the higher-end variant. The scooter provides ground clearance and legroom specifications aimed at urban riding conditions.
The Destini 110 will be available in two variants across Hero MotoCorp’s dealer network. The VX Cast Drum variant is priced at ₹72,000, while the ZX Cast Disc version costs ₹79,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Color options include Eternal White, Matt Steel Grey, Nexus Blue, Aqua Grey, and Groovy Red across the two variants.
Sales will begin in phases across Hero MotoCorp dealerships nationwide. The company, which bills itself as the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, continues to focus on the domestic Indian market where it maintains significant market share in the two-wheeler segment.
The launch represents Hero MotoCorp’s efforts to compete in the crowded 110cc scooter space, where multiple manufacturers vie for market share among price-conscious consumers seeking fuel-efficient urban transportation solutions.
