SKF Appoints Divya Purohit to Lead Lubrication Lifetime Solutions in India

SKF Engineering & Lubrication India Pvt Ltd has announced the appointment of Divya Purohit as India Head of Lubrication Lifetime Solutions, marking a strategic move to strengthen the company’s position in the country’s expanding industrial sector.

In his new role, Purohit will oversee SKF’s lubrication solutions business, focusing on innovation, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and customer-centric value creation across India.

Purohit brings more than two decades of international leadership experience spanning South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His career includes senior positions at leading industrial companies, where he demonstrated expertise in scaling businesses, driving sustainability initiatives, and integrating circular economy principles into industrial operations.

Previously, Purohit served as Head of the Grains and Food Business for South Asia at Bühler Group and as Business Line Manager for India & Nepal at Atlas Copco, where he led business expansion initiatives and developed organizational capabilities.

Speaking about his appointment, Purohit highlighted India’s economic trajectory and SKF’s readiness to support the nation’s industrial growth. “The Indian economy is powering ahead, and SKF’s strong brand presence in India, anchored by our world-class green manufacturing facility in Bangalore, positions us well to support this growth,” he stated.

Aligned with the Make in India initiative, SKF plans to increase domestic production of advanced lubrication solutions, ensuring customers receive globally benchmarked systems manufactured locally.
